Dernieres Nouvelles (2000, XIIIBis)

Dernieres Nouvelles cover

The least "song" orientated of her albums to date. Like a soundtrack to an unknown movie with a theme that interlinks the tracks. It breathes an atmosphere of desolation and sentiment set in a autumn landscape, best illustrated by the last track Seule, featuring intermittent footsteps set to the beat of time ticking away. Blonde (1995, XIIIBis)

Blonde cover

An eclectic mix of styles, ranging from New Age with Blonde, via the cabaresque Un Peu Beaucoup, the trip-hop(?) of La Marquise, down to the heavy rock of Doc and Ma Réalité. More about Blonde

Gobe (1992, EMI)

Gobe cover

More accessible compared to later albums, the main style is pop-rock with tracks such as Gobe, Les Monstres, Impossible Lover and Wake Up. Exceptions are the beautifully slow swelling C'est Passe, the rock of Dominer, Copie with its cabaret feel and Heroine, a track reflecting the numb state of drug induced elevation. More about Gobe

Nomades (1990, EMI)

Nomades cover

One of her most accessible albums, style: pop-rock. Highlights: the magnificent Et Meme, Encore and Merci featuring a vocal performance with amazing strength, width and depth, and the highly infectious L'homme Au Tablier Vert (Fleurs Carnivores), J'veux Pas M'en Meler and Piege De Lumiere. More about Nomades

Labyrinthe (1988, EMI)

Labyrinthe cover
